We love the Bemis family! They are such a beautiful, sweet family, and their children are darling! We recently spent a little time with them, shooting some portraits in their backyard and at a nearby park. They were troopers as they put up with the cold weather!
The Bemis Family : Tacoma
Adrianne and Her Boys : Tacoma
In September, we shot some portraits of Riley and Kael. As this was one of my favorite shoots, I was really excited to shoot the boys again, this time with their mother, Adrianne. These boys are so fun to shoot! They are full of life and energy, and know how to give the camera a nice, big smile.
A reindeer, just in time for Christmas!
Call Family : Salt Lake City
This is the third and final portrait session from my whirlwind Salt Lake City weekend! I’ve known the Call family for years, and I hadn’t seen them since I moved from California in 2005. It was nice to catch up with them and shoot some family portraits. They are all so grown up now! I used to babysit Justin, the oldest, when he was 2, and he is turning into a handsome young man. Karalynne and Jeff are currently expecting their fifth child, and I couldn’t be happier for them!
The DuPaix Boys : Fruit Heights, Utah
While I was in Utah, I was able to shoot portraits of the very handsome DuPaix boys. I had so much fun with them as they played in the forest. There is something so wonderful about watching boys be themselves. They are full of life, imagination and energy. It is times like this when I just try to stay out of the way and capture the magic moments that they create!
Stephanie and Noah : Tacoma
A couple of weeks ago, my best friend Stephanie & Noah flew up to Washington to stay with us for the weekend. This was a special trip for many reasons. This was the first time Stephanie and I saw each other since Travis and I were married in 2007. I met her son, Noah for the first time and fell completely in love with him! It also happened to be the weekend before OUR birthday. Yes, my very best friend & I share the same birthday! Steph is so special to me because we always pick up right where we left off. Although time and distance has kept us apart, somehow, when we are together it’s as if no time was lost. I miss her already. After months of planning, our special “birthday weekend” just flew by. I am glad we had the opportunity to capture a few frames of Stephanie & Noah. I love them with all my heart!
Riley and Kael : University Place
We went to a local University Place park to shoot Riley and Kael, two brothers who love to do those things that all little boys love — play in water, throw rocks and wrestle each other. We spent time with the boys as they played around the creek and explored nature. I wish all adults were this easy to photograph!
