Seattle’s Olympic Sculpture Park was the perfect backdrop for Elizabeth and Sean’s wedding. The incredible artwork and architecture complemented the natural beauty of nearby Puget Sound on a summer afternoon. With elements of the wedding designed around Seattle landmarks, it was only fitting for the couple’s special day to take place in the shadow of the Space Needle. Elizabeth and Sean are so incredibly sweet, and it was a pleasure to document their day!

Ashley & Riley : Georgetown Seattle Wedding
Two of our favorite people at one of our favorite venues! Ashley and Riley’s Georgetown Ballroom wedding was perfect. It was clear throughout the day how much these two love their family and friends. They are such a sweet couple, and we feel so honored to have photographed their special day!

Claire & Scott : Seattle New Years Eve Wedding
There is something special about New Year’s Eve Weddings. By their very nature, weddings are a celebration of new beginnings. When celebrated in conjunction with New Year’s Eve festivities, that feeling is only amplified. Claire and Scott’s Georgetown Ballroom wedding was a fantastic celebration, complete with a midnight balloon drop, a live band, and one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph.

Andrea & Marshall : Seattle Temple Wedding
We love these two. We have known Andrea for years and were excited to meet Marshall and photograph their wedding. They’re such a fun, creative couple and their wedding perfectly reflected that. Following their private ceremony at the Seattle LDS Temple, Andrea and Marshall joined together with their friends and family to celebrate with a reception at the Tacoma Scout Office. There was dancing. There were s’mores. There were Norweigan traditions. There was incredible light. What a beautiful day!

Liana & Herschell : South Lake Union Wedding
Prior to Liana & Herschell’s ceremony at Cuoco in South Lake Union, they joined their family in a traditional tea ceremony in their home. These two beautiful ceremonies were combined with endless amounts of delicious food (Herschell works for Tom Douglas Restaurants) and dancing, resulting in the perfect day. We adore Liana & Herschell. In addition to being such a gorgeous couple, they are the sweetest people, and they went out of their way to make sure their guests were laughing and that bellies were full.

Jennifer and Kevin : Redmond, Washington Wedding
This was simply one of the sweetest, most poignant weddings we have photographed. The warmth and love that Jennifer and Kevin’s family and friends showed was moving. The details — all designed and curated by Jennifer — combined with the gorgeous forest setting to create the perfect backdrop for their wedding. The day was full of sweet, heartfelt moments, including when Kevin played the same song his father wrote for his mother on their wedding day.

These two are all class and style! With a heavy helping of mountain cabin details and timeless fashion, the look and design of Christina and Ryan’s wedding was combined with genuine joy and love to create an unforgettable day. Following a private ceremony in the Seattle LDS Temple, Christina and Ryan celebrated with a reception at Blakely Hall. We love these two and wish them all the best at the start of the journey!

Christian and Andie : Port Gamble Wedding
Christian and Andie’s wedding was not only a special day for them, but it was also a special day for us, as these two lovebirds are two of our closest friends. Travis fulfilled his duties as best man but picked up the camera whenever there was an opportunity! Their day was beyond beautiful. From the lovely ceremony and the impeccable details to the unreal caketopper and custom designs from Assemble (Andie’s shop), everything was created and designed with care from Christian and Andie and their closest friends. Special thanks to Jeramie Shoda for helping us document the day.
Christian and Andie’s wedding is also featured on the lovely blog, Green Wedding Shoes. Take a look for more photos and inspiration.

Kelsey and John : Capitol Hill Seattle Wedding
What a great way to close out the 2011 wedding season! Kelsey and John’s Sorrento Hill wedding had a fantastic vintage literature theme that felt so natural and fit them so well. Their day was full of big smiles and lots of love. We felt so fortunate to be a part of their day, as they honestly made us feel like we were part of the family. We love these two. Special thanks to our good friend, Jeramie, who joined us for the wedding in case I went into labor!

Anna and John : Georgetown Seattle Wedding
This is one of those weddings you don’t want to end. It was fun, sweet and unique. Just like Anna and John. They were married at the Georgetown Ballroom in South Seattle. There was barbecue and Molly Moon’s. There was dancing. There were Scandinavian wedding hats. And, of course, there was rain.
