Beautiful simplicity. Mary & Christian were married on the shores of the Puget Sound at Camano Island State Park, surrounded by a few close friends and family. As they shared their vows, the sun broke through the clouds with bald eagles flying overhead. Following the ceremony, the couple joined their guests in the nearby cabin for a perfect reception with warm soup, warmer drinks and beautiful music.
Madeleine and Simon were married in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens at Madeleine’s family farm. The forest meadow and barn provided a beautiful setting for a uniquely sweet wedding day. Though Madeleine and Simon were accompanied by so many family and friends, they were in their own world throughout the day, celebrating their own love. There is no better example of this than their first dance — an emotional, choreographed exhibit of love… soundtracked by Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”. It was simply beautiful.

A lot of people talk about getting married on the top of a mountain, but few actually do it. Cameron and John’s wedding was breathtaking — not simply for the spectacular vistas of the mountain valleys and forests, but more importantly for the incredible amount of love between the couple and their friends and family. We felt so fortunate to document their day and tell their story.
Caitlin & Andrew were married at the gorgeous Turtlehead Farm on Orcas Island. The working sawmill provided a unique backdrop for their sweet ceremony, which was followed by a gorgeous reception on the other side of the farm in the barn. It was a relaxed affair that perfectly fit the setting, complete with live music from the incredibly talented The Swearengens.

This was simply one of the sweetest, most poignant weddings we have photographed. The warmth and love that Jennifer and Kevin’s family and friends showed was moving. The details — all designed and curated by Jennifer — combined with the gorgeous forest setting to create the perfect backdrop for their wedding. The day was full of sweet, heartfelt moments, including when Kevin played the same song his father wrote for his mother on their wedding day.
Shannon and Scott were married during an intimate backyard ceremony with a few family members and friends. More guests arrived later to celebrate on the shores of beautiful Lake Tapps. Throughout the day, Shannon and Scott put emphasis on their two families becoming one, and many sweet moments accompanied the couple and guests as this happened.
